Additional Information

In Stratigraphy of China ⎯ The Carboniferous (1990), it was considered that the top and bottom of the type section of Wulonggou Fm were incomplete, and besides, there lacked reliable fossil evidence. Therefore this stratum was treated as being the lower part of Dagangou Fm and the name Wulonggou Fm was cancelled. However, the Regional Geology of Qinghai Province (1991) added the discovery of the Yunjusayi section at Mangnai Town, considering that layers 1−8 in the section should be the Wulonggou Fm.
